FAQ

How do your bath and body products support, nourish, and tonify my child's constitution.

We used two rationales when developing the wellness component of our products. Firstly we rely on ancient knowledge and secondly we couple it with modern day clinical observations. The use of herbal soaks and elixirs is well documented for thousands of years in traditional medicine practices all over the world. We chose remedies that have been in use for a very long time but have also shown great results in a modern clinical setting. Our medical team consists of both an acupuncturist and a pediatrician who combined have been practicing for over 60 years. By combining ancient knowledge with modern day observations and manufacturing methods we are confident in our products and use them on our own children.

Where do you make your products?

All Gryph & IvyRose products are manufactured in the USA. We work closely with our partners to create unique and high quality products that you can trust.

How do I know that your elixirs are right for my kids?

Each elixir has a vivid description on the product page, but it is important to keep in mind that every child is unique and needs differ from situation to situation. If your child's health is compromised in any way please consult your healthcare practitioner before starting any supplement.

Why do the herbal elixir directions recommend not mixing them with citrus juices?

We prefer for our elixirs to not be exposed to the high levels of acidity generally found in citrus juices. We prefer you use an organic pear (lung) or organic apple (digestion). For the pickiest of little ones organic grape juice offers both a great masking flavor and sweetness that almost all kids love.

How do I know that your elixirs are safe?

Our elixirs are made in small batches in an FDA registered facility that is certified Kosher, USDA Organic, and is located right here in the USA. All herbs used in our elixirs have been tested for pesticides and other contaminates and are selectively imported for high grade and quality.

Can I use Knight in Armor Body Oil for my children's hair?

Yes, we have used it a time or two to smooths things out and also to help style the hair in replacement of gels and sprays.

I love your products so much, can I use them on myself?

Definitely. But, your children might be upset that their favorite shampoo is all gone because mommy and daddy wanted luscious locks like their littles ones.

Are your products organic?

We use organic ingredients when possible. You will see organic symbols in our ingredients list next to the botanicals we can consistently find organic.

Are your products "all natural"?

The term "All Natural" is complicated term that can include ingredients that did not meet our standards. When we developed the Gryph &IvyRose product range we did not focus on trying to fit into the "All Natural" box. Instead, we identified over 400 commonly used ingredients that we promise never to use, like Parabens, Sulphates and Phthalates.
